Donations for Myanmar Orphanage

Raising Money for a good cause. Hurricanes blew down this kitchen, and many more Bamboo buildings, help us by donating to re-build and construct stronger more adequate living buildings and conditions for the unfortunate, homeless and orphans in Myanmar. Rehabilitating and ongoing teaching these children is our main aim but our project is nearly finished and we would like to raise funds to help fostering these remaining children into good homes and to continue with their schooling and support the fostering families.

Doulos Orphanage – Yangon, Myanmar (Burma) – The Doulos Orphanage provides Christ centered and comprehensive care for children and youth from the Yangon region who would otherwise have no one to provide for their physical or spiritual needs.  The ministry is run by Pastor Toe, his wife MayMay, and their dedicated staff who are currently providing for over thirty children aged from 6 to 18.  Pastor Toe and his ministry partners (Partners Against Poverty) have a goal to help this ministry become a self-sustaining operation as soon as possible.

To this end, the World Changers ministry, together with a few other churches in Australia have helped set up a viable rice growing facility that provides direct food support for the children in the program.  In addition to the care of the children at the orphanage, Pastor Toe and his family work tirelessly to train Christian ministers and have helped start many new churches.
